I was born– the third of four children- and raised in Holzgerlingen, where I also went to school up until my Abitur ( comparable to A- levels or High School diploma) in 1991.

Drawing and sketching have always been my passion and I have been keen on patterns and ornaments from the beginning.

My first contact with tattooing was through my sister Sabine, who was working as a tattooist in the Alex Tattoo Atelier in Ehningen. It didn´t take long until I got my first tribal tattoo from Alex himself.

At the end of 1993 I started my “apprenticeship” at the Alex Tattoo Atelier. Due to the close collaboration with Sabine and Alex I was able to professionalize my technical skills and my work in the years to follow up to my current level of craftsmanship.

After Sabine opened her own studio in 2002, in Dießen am Ammersee (Upper Bavaria), I seized the opportunity to concentrate more on ornamentation and to specialize in tribals. Since then my main focus is on Pacific and other tribals and floral, feminine ornaments.

After 15 years at the Alex Tattoo Atelier in Ehningen I have now started my own studio, in early August 2008. Currently I´m working in my parental home in Holzgerlingen… but only until the extension to it – my own little studio – will be completed (see the gallery “construction works /Ladenbau”)

This will provide the ideal space where customers can acquaint themselves with my work, and where I can advise you in a relaxed atmosphere, thus transforming ideas and visions into unique tattoos.
